Processing Time
Orders are processed and shipped within 3-5 business days. Please allow additional processing time during holidays. We cannot guarantee changes on orders placed. If you need help with an order, please email candles@scentsofflare.com with details of the order and the issue and we will try to do our best to help you out.
Exchanges and Returns
We have a 14-day exchange and refund policy, which means you have 14 days after receiving your item to request an exchange or return. We are not responsible for shipping on exchanged or returned items.
To be eligible for an exchange or return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase. To start an exchange or return, you can contact us at candles@scentsofflare.com. Once we’ve received and inspected your item, we will notify you and let you know if the exchange or return was approved. Items sent back to us without first requesting an exchange or return will not be accepted.

For exchanges, the fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have, and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item.
Refunds on returns
We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method within 10 business days. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.

Damages and issues
Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged, or if you receive the wrong item so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right. If your order arrived damaged, please send us a detailed email within 48 hours about the damaged items with photos of the damaged items before using your product.
Exceptions / non-returnable items
We cannot accept returns on sale items or gift cards.
Candles, wax melts, and other wax products can soften and melt during shipping in warm/hot temperatures. We are not liable for products that are melted when subjected to warm/hot temperatures for long periods of time. Please have your orders shipped to a temperature-controlled location, for example, your business or home where someone is present to receive the order. Packages that are left outside in warm/hot weather are subject to melting. We will not be held liable for packages that are left outside in warm/hot temperatures.
Clearance items, limited edition items, discounted items, and gift cards are final sales and cannot be exchanged or returned. We do not cover the shipping charge on any returned items.

International Orders
We are not currently offering international shipping outside of the U.S. and Canada.
