When will I receive my order?
Most orders are processed and ready to ship within 3-5 days. If you have not received your item within a reasonable time please get in touch with us at candles@scentsofflare.com.
What if an item I ordered is incorrect or damaged?
Our goal is your satisfaction. If your product is damaged upon arrival, please email us at candles@scentsofflare.com Please retain the original packaging materials.
Why is there a mushroom head on my cotton wick after burning?
A carbon buildup known as a mushroom can happen with any type of wick or wax. It is most common in highly fragrant candles as the scent travels up the wick while it burns. This is normal. Trim the wick before every burn.
My wood wick will not stay lit?
The beauty of natural wood wicks is that each is cut from different wood and is unique.
Sometimes we may end up with a finicky wick. Trim the wick before every burn. If the wood wick seems to tunnel in hot wax, extinguish the lit candle and let it cool. Scoop some wax away from the neck of the wick to create a small crater.
Why do you discontinue the use of the candle when a half inch of wax remains?
This is a safety issue. Glass gets hot on the bottom as the wick nears the base. It can cause cracking, breaking, or damage to the jars.
Can I repurpose my candle vessel?
Our luxury frosted glass jars are designed for reuse, so don’t let that beautiful vessel go to waste! They can be used for storing small items, desk organization, cosmetic brushes, floral arrangements, and planters for herb gardens for your living space.
